For self catering, we are well served with supermarkets (Waitrose in Stroud & Cirencester is our favourite).
Delicatessens – Williams Kitchen in Nailsworth (3 Fountain Street, Nailsworth Tel: 01453 832240) has fantastic fresh fish from Cornwall brought in daily. Hobbs Bakery in Nailsworth is one of Rick Steins Food heroes!
For meat we recommend either Taylors Butchers in Minchinhampton or Jessie Smith in Cirencester.
For basic conveniences there is a small village shop and post office in Oakridge.
